What ever happened to my uni journal I was going to keep? I set it up and was all hyped up about it and then ditched it. It’s now begging for money on one of the nearby street corners. I wish I did put more effort into it though, I mean I’ve stopped working altogether just to focus on my studies more but that concept flew out the window.
These days you’ll probably find me setting up my homepage, spamming the world of Rejaw or reading everyone else’s spam on FriendFeed. That’s right, the homepage doesn’t just redirect to my journal any more so update your bookmarks! Who am I kidding? No one has this site bookmarked…perhaps bookmark it now, please?
I’ve also taken up a lot more photography activity lately and currently attempting the Project 365, where you take a photo each day for a year. It’s actually harder than it sounds, especially if you want to take an interesting photo each day. Since I’ve been home for most days I’m sort of running out of ideas, I don’t have an interesting career where I explore the world. Any ideas are most welcome!
That’s another thing I have to do: organise Flickr and Delicious. I’ll get around to it one day.

It’s been three weeks since I quit work to rethink my strategy and primarily focus on studying. Three weeks, without pay or any forms of assistance. That’s pretty tough and I can’t bare to think of my circumstances if I didn’t prepare myself with some savings. So today, or yesterday since we’ve crossed over to the next day, I made that effort to better my financial status. I’m applying for some youth allowance from Centrelink, which I really hope they approve of.
That’s the beauty of living in a first world country, better opportunities. The only problem was that I didn’t provide enough paperwork so I had to drive back home to pick them up. Instead of driving home, picking up my documents and returning to Centrelink to continue with my application – my car decides to break down on me. Of course, things have to get better from here on.
So my car’s now stopped in the middle of the road, at this point it happens to be peak hour and cars are shooting past in all directions. I can hear the beeping of horns and a few outcries from maddened drivers but there’s nothing that I can do really. I sit back, light up and give my father a call to see if he can come by with some assistance.
Soon enough he arrives but the strange thing is, apparently it’s all my fault. The battery in the car has only been replaced recently so there should be nothing wrong with it, that means if there’s any issues with it then it must be my fault. What tops the cake is that apparently my beanie is what causes passing cars to refrain from assisting me in any way, shape or form.
I didn’t think my beanie looked that ugly, did you? It’s white and it’s Volcom. Remember, there’s always tomorrow.

Quick recap on what’s been happening, just so I can try to keep this updated again.
I think that’s enough, don’t you?

So like I was meant to be doing my project but ended up doing everything but. A few hours before the deadline I conceded defeat and accepted my fate. Yet another subject in which I must repeat further down the track.
What have I been doing in the meantime? Exploring the web in all its glory! There seems to be something to do every time I’m on it, be it interacting on social media sites such as Twitter or Facebook; exploring on Flickr, Vimeo or Youtube; or just catching up on the latest updates such as iPhone 3G announcements! Wow that was a lot of hyperlinks. Plug-plug!
The clock will strike 4 AM soon and it’ll be almost 24 hours since I’ve hit the sack yesterday. I would sleep but I have to get up for work in half an hour anyway so I don’t see much point to it. After work it’s finally time for much needed partying, unless I pass out prior, and then training the next day followed by some more work. I’ll catch up on that sleep a bit later, when I have the time.
Oh why didn’t anyone tell me that PNG-24 had better alpha blending than GIF? After all that heartache trying to smooth out transparencies with GIF!
